Biologist Loys Maingon will lead this strenuous full-day hike up to the vicinity of Circlet Lake – 20 km round trip. Pack a lunch. Expect wet snow beyond the ridge above Lake Helen Mackenzie . Meet at the Strathcona Park Wilderness Centre, Paradise Meadows at 8:30 am. Sturdy footwear is essential – be prepared for sudden changes in the weather in the mountains. Always carry water.
