    Did you know?Meet the endangered Morrison Creek Lamprey. You can decide if you think he is cute but we are super grateful to have this little guy living in the Morrison Creek Headwaters. Considered endangered, by both the Province of BC and the Government of Canada, this species allows us to access funding from various agencies and because of this we have already raised $775,155 of the $870,000 needed to purchase the Morrison Creek Headwaters and protect this valuable conservation area. ...     The birders group visited the Courtenay Airpark on Thursday and found 32 species, including four birds of prey (Northern Harrier, Cooper’s Hawk, Merlin, and Peregrine Falcon.)
