Our next Botany group meeting will take place on Monday April 13th at the house of Kate 11.30 am. Kate has kindly offered to make Nettle Soup since urtica sp. is in season!!
The focus of the meeting will be native and invasive plants in the Baybrook and Mack Laing Park areas. On the walk we should observe what is present now, in comparison with inventories that have been done in the past (one in the 1980s and one in 2005), and we can consider whether it would be useful to do another formal one before there is any major disturbance of the areas around Baybrook and Shakeside.
