CV Nature is organizing a Rivers & Shoreline Cleanup at the Courtenay Riverway & Airpark on BC Rivers Day, Sunday, September 29th.
“Clean Our Rivers” will take place between 10 a.m. to noon. To participate, meet by the Airpark Cafe at 10am on Sunday. Bring suitable clothing, boots & gloves. Garbage bags are provided. Frank Hovenden will direct the cleanup. There will be refreshments afterwards, as the items and amounts are tallied up. Bring a friend & have fun while helping the environment!
