Bird Outing Report: Bear Creek Park, May 5,2016

Today 11 birders spent a pleasant morning at Bear Creek Park and we found 23 species of birds – but no bears 🙂 Highlights included good looks at a pair of Common Mergansers and a singing Pacific-slope Flycatcher, and hearing a Western Tanager and a Wilson’s Warbler. The breeding birds are gradually showing up and we look forward to more species and numbers the next time we go to Bear Creek Park.
