Oct 29, Sunday: Ruth Masters Greenway, Powerhouse Road Entrance
Loys will lead a walk through the Ruth Masters Greenway and along the Puntledge River. Meet at Powerhouse Road Park entrance to Ruth Masters Greenway. Entrance is on the east side of Powerhouse Road, between 1st Street and Mellifera Place.
For many years Ruth was an active member of CVNS, and 18 acres of this park was donated to residents of the Comox Valley in care of the Comox Valley Land Trust and the Land Conservancy of BC. The walk is flat alongside the river, but there is one moderately steep hill getting down from the parking lot.
