LITTLE RIVER Nature Park Walk

Wild flowers explode! Register now for the limited spaces, or email for more information or to get your name on the waitlist!
Join Naturalist Karen Cummins as we explore diverse habitats in the two sections of this park. Ponds and salt marsh, beach plain and estuarine plain as well as the lower level of Little River, a provincially designated sensitive stream are all showcased here!
This approximately 2km, 2 hour wander will feature some of the native beach plain spring flowers growing there including Menzies Larkspur, Blue Eyed Mary and Desert Parsley. This area is a relatively new park and lots of restoration work has been done by CVN volunteers to remove invasive species. This is ongoing and volunteers will be working that day.
Don’t miss this opportunity!
