BOTANY AT THE COURTENAY AIRPARK

Two knowledgable Comox Valley Naturalists will introduce people to the plants at the Airpark.  Learn how the the area went from sewage lagoon covered in chunks of concrete to a diversified city park featuring many native plant species that are reclaiming and recreating their natural environment.   We will review many plant species and hopefully participants will be identifying some species by the end of this botany focussed walk.  This is a flat 1 km walk.  Meet at the Totem Pole halfway round Airpark.
