BOTANY AT THE AIRPARK for CVN members and guests

Join three members of the Comox Valley Naturalists to explore the plants of the Courtenay Airpark including, tide permitting, some of the estuary.

Learn how the area went from sewage lagoon covered with chunks of concrete to a diversified park that features many native species reclaiming and recreating their natural environment.  You will hear from the leading force behind those changes, Frank Hovenden and review many species names along this 1km flat walk. The camas should be blooming!  No dogs please.
