Monthly Meetings

Meetings of the Comox Valley Naturalists Society are held on the third Sunday of most months at the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Ave. Courtenay BC at 7:00 pm. A Guest Speaker precedes a brief business meeting. Meetings are open to the public, including youth. A donation of $3.00 is suggested for non-members, and new memberships are always welcomed. Meetings are not held in July, August, and December. Please see the Events Calendar for the next meeting dates.

Group Meetings

The Botany group meets at a member’s house on the first Monday of most months. Occasionally the meeting is replaced by a field trip. Please see the Events Calendar for the next meeting.

The Birders group meets on the first Thursday of each month, at 7:00 pm in the Soroptimist Lounge in the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Ave, Courtenay. There are also occasional field trips. Please see the Events Calendar for the next meeting.

There are three Bird Counts annually conducted by CVNS; Spring, Christmas, and Trumpeter Swan counts. For more information please use the Contact Us section.
